The M3D-Sub subwoofer supplements M3D line array systems in music reinforcement applicationsrequiring very high power and maximum headroom in the lowest frequencies. The M3D-Sub features the same physical dimensions as the M3D.M3D-Subs may be flown or ground-stacked, and may also be combined with M3Ds in a single array M3D Sub.
The MILO high-power curvilinear array is the “light-heavyweight” entry in Meyer Sound’s acclaimedM Series of self-powered line arrays.MILO is remarkably compact and lightweight for aselfcontained, four-way system — particularly considering that it delivers 140 dB SPLpeak outputwith exceptionally flat phase and frequency response.MILO contains three dedicated very-high frequency transducers thatextend its operating range to18 kHz, increase available high frequencyheadroom, and result in extraordinary resolution of delicate transients, even in very long throw applications. MILO is the same width as theM3D-Sub directional subwoofer, though much smaller in other dimensions.
The MICA compact high-powered curvilinear array loudspeaker is the newest and smallest memberof the acclaimed MILO family of loudspeakers. MICA brings the very high output and smooth, extended high-frequency response that is the MILO family’s sonic signature to a smaller package with broad 100-degree horizontal coverage. This makes MICA ideal for applications that do not require quite as much power and throwdistance as MILO or where weight and size are a concern. MICA is suited to a wide variety of applications such as touring, rental, and fixed installation, and its sonic compatibility with MILO makes it an excellent component in a MILO family system.
M’elodie is Meyer Sound’s newest generation of a strong family line: the celebrated M Series. M’elodie brings the sonic signature and easy to use rigging of the MILO family of loudspeakers, along with an extraordinary power-to-size ratio to a package smaller than the company’s MICA compact high-power curvilinear array loudspeaker. As a result, M’elodie is compact enough for small theatres, ballrooms and clubs, as well as being an outstanding performer in theatrical productions and corporate AV applications.
The Meyer Sound MSL-3 is a high-Q, arrayable loudspeaker designed for a wide variety of medium to long-throw applications. The MSL-3’s tightly defined coverage pattern allows seamless integration into array clusters, which may be tight-packed for long throw or splayed for broader coverage.CQ-2 MSL-3, no downloads available.
The Meyer Sound CQ-2 is a self-powered, phase-corrected reinforcement loudspeaker offeringprecise, high-Q coverage. The CQ-2 features a new, patented horn design that is the result ofextensive research in Meyer Sound’s calibrated anechoic chamber. The CQ-2’s frequency response of 40 Hz to 18 kHz is uniform over the entire coverage area inboth the horizontal and vertical axes, with no side lobes when measured at one-sixth octavefrequency resolution.
The Meyer Sound 650-P is a high-powered subwoofer for sound reinforcement applications. The 650-P provides extended low-frequency power bandwidth, handling high continuous operating levels and extreme transient information with minimal distortion and response extending to 28 Hz.
The Meyer Sound 700-HP ultrahigh-power subwoofer sets a new standard for the power-to-size equation. The 700-HP's power and bandwidth handle high continuous operating levels and extreme transient information with minimal distortion in its operating frequency range.
The Meyer Sound DS-2P is an arrayable, self-powered mid-bass loudspeaker that provides highpower with extremely
low distortion.
The Meyer Sound PSM-2 is a self-powered stagemonitor loudspeaker designed to meet criticalrequirements in
professional applications.
The USW-1P is a self-powered subwoofer loudspeaker that provides flat response in the 32 to 180Hz range. The USW-1P performs well with UPA-P Series self-powered loudspeakers to form full-rangereproduction systems, and is also compatible with other Meyer Sound self-powered mid-highloudspeakers.
The self-powered UPA-1P compact wide coverage loudspeaker (patented) provides high poweroutput, low distortion and consistent polarresponse in a compact enclosure. Offering extraordinary fidelity and power in a very compact package, the UPA-1P is suitable for awide variety of applications, from surround playback and audio-visual systems to nightclubreinforcement and delayed fill systems.
The self-powered UPA-2P provides high power output, low distortion and consistent polar responsein a compact enclosure. Offering extraordinary fidelity and power with tightly controlled, symmetrical coverage, the UPA-2Pis suitable for a wide variety of applications including center clusters for nightclub or theatrical reinforcement, and delayed fill systems.
Like its long throw partner, the T4805, the innovative T2815 Tangent Array Module incorporates thepatent-pending GEO Hyperboloid Reflective Wavesource™. This entirely different device for controlling acoustic energy makes GEO T the only concert-levelsound system in existence that is capable of seamless, coherent nearfield/downfill coverage.
The T4805 Vertical Tangent Array Module is the most advanced expression yet of NEXO's patent-pending GEO Technology. It incorporates the Hyperboloid Reflective Wavesource™, the Configurable Directivity Flange™, the Directivity Phase Device™ and a unique DSP-drivencardioid LF section.
The GEO S830 has proven the value and effectiveness of both vertical and horizontal tangent arrays. Its patent-pending Hyperboloid Reflective Wavesource creates tangent wavefronts whether theadjacent cabinets are additional S830s or 0.125°-5° GEO S805s.The unique geometry of the HRW allows the S830 to be used as a downfill for vertical tangentarrays of S805 modules, or as a 30° building block in horizontal tangent arrays. In either orientation, the S830 delivers totally coherent high frequencies, transparent midrange andsolid low end with its neodymium 1"-exit compression driver and long excursion 8" cone transducer.
Since its introduction in 2002, the GEO S805 has consistently demonstrated a remarkable ability to project coherent sound over long distances. Arrays of up to 23x S805 Vertical Tangent Array Modules and 1x S830 Horizontal/Vertical Tangent Array Module have been deployed for large indoor and outdoor events, with consistently excellent results in the reproduction of music and speech.
NEXO R&D has used the advanced DSP power of the digital NX242 TDcontroller to develop anextremely compact and highly efficient method for controlling the dispersion of very large acousticalwaves. The CD18 uses a pair of long excursion neodymium 18" drivers, two amplifier channels andtwo channels of DSP processing to generate a cardioid or supercardioid pattern with up to -15dB ofattenuation at the rear.Yet, the enclosure is no larger than is required for proper loading of the transducers.
Until now, directional control of very low frequencies could only be accomplished with enormouswaveguides or multienclosure arrays. But NEXO R&D has harnessed the acoustical principles underlying the cardioid microphone to produce hypercardoid subbass from a very small enclosure. The CD12 relies on the advanced DSP algorithms of the NX242 Digital TDcontroller to provide both vertical ‘and horizontal pattern control, with -12dB attenuation at the rear.
This is a scalable loudspeaker module that displays exceptional MF-LF output (103dBSPL nominal sensitivity - 1W @1m) from a single 12" loudspeaker and NEXO's proprietary Directivity Phase Device (DPD). NEXO’s compact, 2-way GEO S1210 is a scalable high-output, loudspeaker module. While a narrow-Q (10°) device in single-source mode, S1210’s unique Hyperboloid Reflective Wavesource (HRW) also allows coupled S1210s to radiate as coherent, wavefronts, in either horizontally or vertically arrayed systems.GEO S1210’s coupled MF/HF pattern control is arraydependent,as designed by GEOSoft2 array software, and configured according to venue -specific geometry. Non-coupled MF/HF coverage configures at 80°or 120°.
